Improve Street Safety

The Baytown Police Department uses the Traffic Enforcement Request Form to improve driver education and voluntary compliance with traffic laws. This form is only for traffic-related violations.  For other traffic- or sign-related concerns, please use the Better Baytown app.

Citizens who observe speeding, red light violations or any other dangerous driving behavior are encouraged to contact the Traffic Management Team at 281-420-6656, and provide the license plate number of the vehicle involved in the incident and a description of the incident. Any issue that is in progress or an emergency in nature should be reported immediately by dialing 911.

These violations or concerns can also be reported online through the use of a Traffic Enforcement Request Form. The Department welcomes the reporting of any traffic concern observed by persons in Baytown and encourages the use of these methods to report such incidents.
